It’s also meant to be a song about having anger towards someone but still wanting them regardless of how much they’ve let you down and not metaphorically picked you back up,” explains Lola Young. “The writing process of this was super fun, I wrote to a beat that my friends made (Conor and will/Manuka) and it felt super special. My upcoming EP is based around love and longing and being a young girl living in south London falling in and out of love. It’s a 3-track EP that will hopefully take people on a short but meaningful journey.”

Heading into this year and next project, I made a promise to focus my energy on getting to know myself and to date myself for the first time.

"I grew up around a lot of people who were scared of admitting their problems, either out of pride or fear of judgment," says Guisande. "'Go There' is about letting go of that fear and being willing to go to the darkest parts of yourself, because that's how you build a close and meaningful relationship with someone." In the video directed by Patrick Tohill, Guisande elaborates "I think of my music in 'seasons' where the videos all tie together and are meant to be watched as one complete story. I'm in Season Two right now and you'll notice the character I've brought back in 'Go There' is from my previous two videos, and that character is my mother." Guisande also tells Forbes, "Just make sure you watch till the end. The end is the best part of my personal favorite part at least."
